British Red Cross Awareness sessions for residents
British Red Cross Awareness sessions for residents of the Derby Initial Accommodation Centre
A team from the British Red Cross will be at St Luke’s coffee mornings every last Monday of the month from 10.30 to 12.30
The sessions are open to residents of the Derby Initial Accommodation centre and their supporters and are aimed to introduce the services the British Red Cross can provide for asylum seekers and refugees as well as people who have experienced trafficking.
The sessions will be welcoming and informal and where possible we will try and answer questions. Our team will include interpreters from the local community to help overcome any language barriers.
We will not be able to give any immigration legal advice but we can give information regarding the asylum support system in the UK and where to find help
